On May 28th, Cork City came alive with passion and purpose as hundreds of people gathered at the Cork Volunteer Centre for the Volunteer Expo. It was an incredible opportunity for organisations like ours to connect with the community, share our mission, and inspire others to get involved.
Our charity was proud to be part of such a vibrant event. Several of our dedicated volunteers attended, speaking passionately about the work we do and the difference we make. We handed out leaflets, shared stories, and met so many kind-hearted people who were eager to learn more about how they could contribute. It was truly inspiring to see so many individuals express interest in joining us as volunteers.
A huge thank you to the organisers of the Volunteer Expo for putting together such a wonderful event. Bringing so many organisations and volunteers together in one place is no small feat, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to have been part of it. Days like this remind us just how powerful community spirit can be, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.
